Rory O'Hanlon: The Deputy should hear the Chair. I read out that, as the Bill is considered by virtue of Article 2.2.2° of the Constitution to be a Bill initiated in the Dáil, it will be sent to the Seanad. I believe Standing Order 119 covers that. The Deputy cannot oppose it being sent to the Seanad.

It is not appropriate to have a debate on what was discussed or on any particular issue which is the not the responsibility of the Department of the Taoiseach.
