Pat Deering: I do not profess to have any degree of expertise in this particular area. As Deputy Penrose said, the Minister attends meetings of the committee every November and is due to attend on 27 November on this matter. Pat Deering: Mr. Kelly has given us some food for thought for our discussion with the Minister when we will engage with him at the end of the month. It is a new direction that we have not been brought previously. It is something we will have to take up with the Minister directly. Mr. Kelly said that he has met Department officials on a regular basis. What reaction did he get from them in this respect?
