Brendan Griffin: While RTE produces it and there is an audience, is it part of its remit? Surely there needs to be a standard and a cut-off point.

Brendan Griffin: I suppose I am keen to express my concern that the State broadcaster should not get sucked into a race to the bottom and convey my hope that RTE is aware of many people's concerns about this problem, which should be avoided in the future.
