- Public Accounts Committee: National Paediatric Hospital Development Board: Financial Statements 2018 (5 Dec 2019)
Imelda Munster: We have no idea, and this comes back again to the guaranteed maximum price. We have no idea whatsoever what the final cost will be.

- Public Accounts Committee: National Paediatric Hospital Development Board: Financial Statements 2018 (5 Dec 2019)
Imelda Munster: I know that, but it would stand to reason that we have no idea whatsoever of what the final cost will be. Is that a "Yes" or a "No"?
- Public Accounts Committee: National Paediatric Hospital Development Board: Financial Statements 2018 (5 Dec 2019)
Imelda Munster: It is a silly answer to say "It is not a "Yes" or a "No"". It is a yes-no answer. Do we have any idea of what the final costs will be? That is a yes-no answer, in fairness.
- Public Accounts Committee: National Paediatric Hospital Development Board: Financial Statements 2018 (5 Dec 2019)
Imelda Munster: No I am not. I am asking Mr. Barry a question. We have said that we have no way of estimating what the claims will be between now and the end of the build. Mr. Barry agreed that there was no way of estimating those claims.

Imelda Munster: The question is, if we have no way of estimating what the claims will be then how can we possibly have any idea what the final costs will be? Is that a "Yes" or a "No" to my question?

- Public Accounts Committee: National Paediatric Hospital Development Board: Financial Statements 2018 (5 Dec 2019)
Imelda Munster: So Mr. Barry has no idea what the final cost will be. If the witness has, then he should say it. This is why I ask the question. Unless he tells us otherwise we can presume that he has no idea what the final cost will be.
- Public Accounts Committee: National Paediatric Hospital Development Board: Financial Statements 2018 (5 Dec 2019)
Imelda Munster: No. Does Mr. Barry have any idea what the final cost will be?
- Public Accounts Committee: National Paediatric Hospital Development Board: Financial Statements 2018 (5 Dec 2019)
Imelda Munster: Whatever you are having on top. With that response, it is fair to say that the €1.7 billion is aspirational rather than a reality. Imelda Munster: Nobody? They are all gone.
