Jan O'Sullivan: Last March, the EU decided that so-called party drugs, including BZP, should be controlled. The EU gave member states a year to do so. That 12-month period expires next month, so are there proposals to amend the Misuse of Drugs Act or to add these drugs to the controlled list? While they are known as party drugs, they can be dangerous and have serious effects. The time is nearly up.
