Neasa Hourigan: Okay. Having had that conversation, we will return to the issue of sunset clauses. If these are policy initiatives, that is a surprising figure.

Committee on Budgetary Oversight: Tax Expenditures Review: Discussion (22 Jun 2022)

Neasa Hourigan: Here is the metric I am interested in. I could not find that information anywhere, or at least I was not able to collate it in the way I wanted to. How many of these 165 tax expenditure elements are over €25 million? That is the limit that triggers the three-year review. If only four of these measures are being reviewed annually, then I suspect that the Department is woefully...

Public Accounts Committee: 2020 Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General and Appropriation Accounts
An Bord Pleanála - Financial Statements 2020
Vote 34 - Housing, Local Government and Heritage
(14 Jul 2022)

Neasa Hourigan: As Mr. Walsh said, An Bord Pleanála’s operations are set out in legislation. I am under the impression that when one deviates from what is set out in the legislation, board members require written permission from Mr. Walsh. Is that correct? For example, the requirement is that it is three or more board members who sit in-----
