I remind Members that the purpose of this Bill is to amend the Constitution for the purpose of abolishing the Seanad and not, whether we regret it or otherwise, reform of the Seanad. I do not wish to stymie the debate but I cannot allow Senators to stray too far from the purpose of the Bill.
