Jackie Cahill: I thank Mr. O'Brien. I gave latitude to Mr. O'Brien in his answers because I felt he was giving a comprehensive review of the issues in the industry. Jackie Cahill: Before calling the witnesses I want to refer to Deputy Carthy's comments on what we voted on in legislation in the Dáil. I was clear that we were voting on the licensing process. - Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine: Challenges for the Forestry Sector: Discussion (Resumed) (3 Nov 2020)
Jackie Cahill: I have another witness to call on. Since our time is restricted due to Covid, I would like brief answers. Given that many comprehensive questions have been asked, I would like it if the witnesses could send us written answers to some of them. Detailed and pertinent questions have been asked and, in normal times, I would be able to let the meeting extend beyond two hours, but I will have to...
