Brian Leddin: The input assumption of this report is that people are travelling at the speed limit, which could be different to the actual speed at which they are travelling.

Brian Leddin: It is fair to say it has been significantly successful and people are maintaining the speed limit. That has been shown over the course of the trial and the implementation.

Brian Leddin: We have a situation where the average speed cameras have a significant impact on driver behaviour. It is true to say that when they are there, drivers will drive at the speed limit for the most part.
