Olivia Mitchell: It is one of our cultural institutions and a major visitor attraction and the approach to it is in an appalling condition and the builder or someone was allowed to destroy the street approach. It has no public lighting or footpath. Any visitor getting off a train or the Luas to visit it will be appalled. It should not be allowed.
