Therefore, my Department has again requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to address this matter and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.

Mary Harney: The HSE has confirmed that the detailed information requested by the Deputy regarding Social Workers has been sought nationally and is currently being collated. This involves the examination of considerable documentation, due to the detailed nature of the information requested, and it is anticipated that this information will be available at the end of November.
