Marian Harkin: The question I asked was whether, in Mr. Kenny's opinion, putting a greenway on part of that route would help to preserve it from squatters and perhaps whether whatever infrastructure would be needed to build the greenway would be important to keep it in that condition in order that if a railway line were to be built any time in the future, it would be easier to start.

My perspective is that putting a greenway in place in no way, as Mr. Kenny said, negatively impacts on the possibility of a rail link in the future.
