Paddy Burke: There has been reduction in the money contributed to good causes over a number of years, which has decreased from €205 million in 2013 to €188 million in 2015. There was a peak of €267 million in 2008. The price of the ticket has increased and there seem to be more games but we have seen a reduction in the contribution to good causes.

Paddy Burke: That may be the case, but the regulator said the games could not be upsold by retailers. However, the PLI stated it had legal advice to suggest the games could be upsold. It seems the PLI has a different opinion from that of the regulator, or is it defying the regulator's position on upselling?
