Brian Cowen: I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the latest relevant information available is in respect of stamp duty repayments arising from property transactions made in the year ending 31 December 2004. Repayments of overpaid stamp duties in this category amounting to some €2.2 million were made in that year with the bulk of them being repaid to solicitors acting on behalf of their clients.
