Alex White: I heard that question, but it would not be fair to ask the representatives of individual credit unions, but we will try to pursue that issue. We will begin with Mr. McConville.

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform: Credit Union Bill 2012: Discussion (Resumed) (20 Sep 2012)

I ask what kind of an instrument would allow an intervention to occur that would stop the growth of a credit union.

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform: Credit Union Bill 2012: Discussion (Resumed) (20 Sep 2012)

Alex White: I am sure members will have questions about that. If I may ask a question on the other net issue, the proposed amendment to the Credit Union Act 1997, in respect of the permission to withdraw one's savings.
