Finian McGrath: A commitment of €60,000 additional funding is being provided to the Irish Deaf Society under a cross-departmental initiative. The funding is a once-off grant for the purpose of developing a Business Plan and implementation strategy setting out a clear and detailed pathway to financial sustainability. Finian McGrath: The person concerned has been awarded disability allowance with effect from 5 December 2018. The first payment was made by her chosen payment method on 13 February 2019. Arrears of payment due have been calculated taking account of overlapping payments and have issued to the person concerned on 12 April 2019. I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
