Charlie McConalogue: Regulation (EU) 2016/1012 lays down the rules governing the approval of a breeding programme. My Department had sought a number of clarifications from Horse Sport Ireland in relation to the breeding programme for the Irish Draught Horse. The requested documentation was received on 25/9/2023. My Department will carry out an evaluation of this documentation before approval will issue.
