Maria Bailey: At the request of broadcasting and recording services, members and visitors in the Public Gallery are requested that for the duration of the meeting, mobile phones be turned off completely or switched to airplane mode. - Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government: Affordable Housing: Discussion (18 Jun 2019)
Maria Bailey: While €1,200 is high for cost rental in that area and I would like the figure to be a lot lower, the reality is that the average rent in that area is in the region of €1,800 to €2,000.
