Jerry Buttimer: It is also unfair to people who are qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, because they are being maligned. There are very reputable courses and qualified people.

Is there anything we can do in legislation, beyond introducing the smoking ban, in respect of the confines of a hospital and its perimeter? Mr. Macey is correct that it is appalling to see patients or staff members, particularly in a hospital, smoking at the gate or in a bus shelter. It is unacceptable. I...
