Colm Burke: I thank the witnesses for their presentation. One problem I have is that some progress has been made but it has not been highlighted enough over the past ten or 15 years. For instance, Mr. Macey talked about a shortage of staff, but an additional 43,000 people have been taken on by the HSE in the past seven years. Is he saying that none of them are dealing with cardiac or stroke?
