Jerry Buttimer: I congratulate the Minister on his cameo appearance in "Operation Transformation" last night and pledge the support of the committee, as has been the case in the past, in regard to the publication of calorie counts. Is there a budget provision for that, or what is the position?

Jerry Buttimer: The committee had the leaders of "Operation Transformation" appear before the committee as well as the experts and we were involved with the "Operation Transformation" programme itself. If the Minister can work with the committee he will find support in terms of the pursuit of that agenda.

Jerry Buttimer: In terms of the medical card review process, as Deputy Kelleher said, this morning we had Ryan Gilmartin's parents at the gate with a petition. I suppose if we are honest that situation should be avoided in so far as we can
