John McGuinness: Yesterday, a young man spoke on a local radio station and complained that his father was recovering in a public ward at St. Luke's General Hospital and that the patient next to him was smoking continuously. Although I thought it was unusual and perhaps inaccurate, it is correct.

John McGuinness: It is difficult to get it resolved. It was on local radio and the individual concerned gave his name and said it was happening. I thought it highly unusual in this day and age and it should be queried, at the very least.
