Dara Calleary: It would improve the legislation if we were to be upfront and say credit unions and crowd funders would be part of the scheme apparatus. We are not making it exclusive to them, but the fact that we would incorporate them in the legislation would show that we took them seriously as organisations with a role to play in the provision of financing for SMEs.
