Jim O'Callaghan: We have notified our opposition to the section because, as was stated in the first session of this committee, we oppose the idea of setting up a judicial appointments commission office. It is an unnecessary quango. This matter was discussed already on the first day of the committee's hearings so I will not repeat the arguments I made previously.
