Robert Troy: According to the European Commission, Ireland did not secure any transport funding from the new €500 billion fund announced last year. This was confirmed by the Transport Commissioner when he appeared before the joint committee. I did not make up my earlier statement.

Robert Troy: In many of big the cities across Europe there are restricted delivery hours. As a motorist, I regularly see delivery vans parked in bus lanes and on double yellow lines, which contributes significantly to congestion. I would welcome the views of all of the delegates on whether deliveries should be restricted, particularly in Dublin, to off-peak hours or at night time.
