Pádraig Mac Lochlainn: That is a very important point. We have received four quite similar petitions and we have dealt with them all individually, so it is an important point that no petitioner should be deterred because a similar petition has failed a period of time ago.

However, if there were to be a security issue, would the witness be agreeable to the use of an identifying number so that the person is identifiable in a case where he or she cannot use their name but a unique number would be a means of clear identification?
