Dessie Ellis: Is the Taoiseach aware that many new Tesco express shops are springing up all over the place and many of these have been opened alongside existing businesses? I can give him many examples of such outlets. The existing businesses are well established.

Is legislation being brought forward to deal with unfair competition? When planning applications for such outlets are submitted, is the impact such operations will have on existing businesses taken into account?
