Brian Hayes: The Boyne Drainage Scheme was completed in 1986 and all rehabilitation was completed in accordance with scheme requirements. A certificate of completion for the scheme was attained. Brian Hayes: The Office of Public Works is currently considering an application received from Cork County Council for funding under the Minor Flood Mitigation Works Scheme to undertake works at the location concerned. The proposed works involve the construction of flood defences in the area. It is expected that a decision on the application will be made in the near future.
