Kieran O'Donnell: On aviation policy, Mr. Michael O'Leary from Ryanair told the committee that the short-haul flights are the only ones paying the emissions trading system, ETS. Aer Lingus falls into both categories because it has long-haul routes that are not paying it and short-haul flights that are.
