Jerry Buttimer: Senator McDowell raised a matter regarding the EU scrutiny committee. That is not a matter for the Leader but for the chair of the committee who, I understand, is actively trying to organise a meeting. I will be happy to expedite that with the Senator and I spoke to him on that.

Jerry Buttimer: I welcome a delegation from the Embassy of the United States: Mr. Peter Glennon, Mr. Ted Danovitz and, for the first time in the Oireachtas, Mr. Peter Thesis.
