I have to say as a resident of Loughrea and with children who love to swim that the handling of this mess by Fianna Fail (the latter word in the name says it all) is a disgrace. Not alone has there been significant depreciation in the value of money collected all those years ago from the people of Loughrea but the likes of Noel Treacy continues to make false statements regarding this project.
I am looking forward to the day and disappointed it hasn't happened already when the people of Loughrea will give Noel Tracy and his colleagues the boot out of public office. The continual comments on the progress of this project, when the reality is nothing is happening is a gross insult to the people of Loughrea. To add additional insult to this situation the Taoiseach now making similar statements by appearing with the owner of the Loughrea hotel, a desperate publicity stunt to drum up votes.
