Your quote, Minister Rabbitte, 'Grid25 will reduce our dependency on imported fossil fuels by putting the infrastructure in place to enable us use our own natural resources, help us create less carbon waste and enable us to reach our 40% targets for the generation of electricity from renewable sources by 2020' clearly shows us that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Have you ever heard the expression 'spinning reserve'? You have already been referred to a very informative web site www.windawareireland.com in order to help you get up to speed on industrial turbines - you are more than aware of the website www.rethinkpylons.org and there are many sources of information out there for you and your team of 'advisers' and 'assistants' to seek clear and academic information from. If you took as much time looking into the details of turbines and pylons, as you spend pressing them on to the Irish people, you would find they are far from 'green' far from 'clean' and Ireland could NEVER, in a million years, depend purely on turbines to meet the needs of our VERY SMALL country. I do not believe you are being honest Mr Rabbitte, and given that you admit to lying anyway ('people lie to get into power....' Do you remember that?) you have no credibility with the electorate any more. I believe you would better serve our country by either listening to the people, who are better informed than you, or step down and allow someone who knows what they are doing to take office.
