As a member of one of the communities that will be impacted by these turbines I am not at all satisfied that my property rights will be protected by the guild lines you speak of.
As a home owner my property will be rendered practically valueless over night if the wind companies are permitted to erect the turbines they are planning a round my home.This is a fact minister as other countries have discovered. If all these companies get even half of the turbines proposed I will be totally surrounded here in Rhode in Offaly. These enormous turbines and this is totally unsustainable. There must be a moratorium on any building until you put laws in place to protect us .
We want legislation Minister and we will fight these proposed developments as long as there is none in place to protect us.
Along with these enormous turbines standing over our homes you want us to accept the pylons that go with them.For what? Who benefits?
This is about money and nothing else. The profits of the wind companies must not be the only motivation here or we will have another shell to sea ten year campaign will benefit no one.
The people of the midlands will fight you minister if you do not protect us.
