1. The information sought could be easily obtained from the HR computer system no need for a search of manual files.
2. Discrimination on age grounds is illegal so it needs to be watched to see if it is occurring.
3. Even if date of birth is not asked on the application its easy to know the person's age group by looking at when they left college and the number of years work experience.
4. The PQ did not reply if there is an independent review so one presumes that there is none.
5. The PQ did not answer the allowances to be paid, as its taxpayers money it should be published.
6. The shortlisting criteria is strange, how can one assess 'Ability to work as part of a team' from a paper
application as opposed to proper interview.
