I would like to thank Brendan Smith for getting Mr Quinn to admit to the freely available services available to Survivors that he is planning to Duplicate with the Statutory Trust Fund by stating clearly

"Of course, those former residents who will not eligible for assistance from the Fund can continue to avail of the National Counselling Service and the Family Tracing Service."

I would also like to thank Mr Quinn for making it clear that NOT one single Survivor will benefit directly from the Statutory Trust Fund but ONLY "Service Providers"

"The General Scheme provides for a wide range of services to be approved for the Fund including counselling, psychological support services and mental health services, health and personal social services, educational services and housing services."

I and many Survivor feel that the Statutory Trust Fund will not benefit Survivor only Service Providers, including Survivor Groups??

Midlands Survivors Services applied for funding from the Statutory Trust Fund as early as April 2011 not only is this a breach of Due process as the Bill has not been enacted; It also shows the Consultation Process up for the Total Farce that it was.

The Consultation Process was a take it or Leave it Affair and NO Groups that took part in it put forward the objections of Survivors to the Statutory Trust Fund.

The wishes of Survivors have been ignored by Groups Unrepresentative of them!
