The minister needs to spend more time getting familiar with the ongoings of his department instead of slagging off Fianna Fail. Dermot Ahern did announce a new recruitment drive last year and advertised on pulicjobs to register an interst in the position. However, he never opened the campaign and the panel that is in place is there since the recruitment campaign of May 2008 and before.
