How can importing fracked US gas be "compatible with the State's commitments to tackle climate change"? There has been no assessment of the climate impacts of fracked gas, not to mind LNG, in the Irish Energy Mix.
A bit of a non-answer really. How about some straight talking for a change. Somebody is pushing buttons to get this project built and it is not coming from transparent, evidence-based decision making really, is it now Minister, because that evidence does not exist?
