Average reduction in CO2 since 2006 was not, as appears to be suggested, due to successful political or SEAI strategy... it is well established that it was primarily due to reduced fuel use by industries, transport and then residential use.... ALL DUE TO THE RECESSION. Beware of statistics as they are easily manipulated.
