I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Cowley â the need for the Minister for Transport to comment on the part road conditions have played in fatal road accidents in recent years; (2) Deputy Healy â the need for the Minister for Education and Science to approve the relocation of the Tipperary Institute from its current location to the Watson Estate, Ballingarrane, Clonmel; (3) Deputy Hogan â the need for additional teaching staff to be appointed to Urlingford national school, County Kilkenny; (4) Deputy à Caoláin â the need for the Minister for Health and Children to establish a national cervical pre-cancer screening programme; (5) Deputy Gormley â the erection of a mobile phone mast on the roof of the OPW buildings in Rathmines close to a school in light of evidence from the Stewart inquiry in Britain; (6) Deputy Gregory â the request by a person (details supplied) for a full explanation or enquiry into the Garda handling of the Grangegorman murders; and (7) Deputy Upton â the need for the Minister for Transport to outline the steps he will take to address the use of mini-scooters by children and young people.
The matters raised by Deputies Cowley, Upton, Gregory and Hogan have been selected for discussion.
