Environment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2025: Instruction to Committee

I move:

That it be an instruction to the Select Committee on Climate, Environment and Energy on the Environment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2025, that pursuant to Standing Order 194(2), the Committee has power to make amendments to the Bill which are outside the scope of the existing provisions of the Bill in order to introduce further amendments to the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992, to make provision in relation to the appointment of the Director General and directors of the Environmental Protection Agency and to make provision in relation to offences relating to litter and for that purpose to amend the Litter Pollution Act 1997, and to make other consequential amendments required to take account of the changes above.
