To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if she will address concerns expressed by the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation that the recent increase in the VAT rate has eroded competitiveness; if she agrees that, at a minimum, the 9% VAT rate should be kept under review for the food services sector; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
