The new tenant in situscheme for private tenants at risk of homelessness, where the owner has to sell the house, takes into the account the income of adult children who may have no other choice but to live in the house. I understand the scheme is under review. Will the Government consider discounting the income of adult children who live in the house with their parents? They will not be the tenants eventually; it will be their parents.
