To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine noting the deadline for decommissioning of the vessels under the Bord Iascaigh Mhara decommissioning scheme expires in April 2023, and the entitlement of crew to avail of a share of compensation if they have worked 90 days on the vessel that is due to be decommissioned in the course of 2020 and 2021, if that entitlement is lost if the fisher has ceased working on the vessel between 2021 and the present; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
