Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy John Brady - to discuss the service provision of bus routes operated by GoAhead and the measures taken to improve the service; (2) Deputy Pauline Tully - to discuss adding spinal muscular atrophy to the list of medical conditions tested for in the newborn heel prick test; (3) Deputy Michael Moynihan - to provide an update on infrastructure works in Castlemagner, County Cork; (4) Deputy Louise O'Reilly - to discuss the loss of the Fingal Express bus service; (5) Deputy Brendan Griffin - to discuss the need for a motor tax renewal waiver; (6) Deputy Niamh Smyth - to address the cuts to NEDOC services in counties Cavan and Monaghan; (7) Deputy Paul Murphy - to discuss the redeployment of Defence Forces staff to Dublin Airport; (8) Deputy Verona Murphy - to discuss including scallop fishers in the Brexit support scheme; (9) Deputy David Stanton - to discuss the need to put in place a system to accommodate Irish students who require clearance to take up training positions on foreign-registered cruise liners as part of their training; (10) Deputy Fergus O'Dowd - to discuss deaths in Dealgan House Nursing Home; (11) Deputy Pat Buckley - to discuss the effects of increases in disability payment on the recipients who are also on the housing assistance payment, HAP, and the need to protect this increase from means testing; (12) Deputy Holly Cairns - to discuss the fact that women are still travelling to the United Kingdom for a termination of pregnancy; and (13) Deputy James O'Connor - to provide an update on 2022 targets for social and affordable housing.

The matters raised by Deputies Brady, Griffin, Cairns and O'Connor have been selected for discussion.
