To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the role of his Department in incentivising a technology-neutral approach to climate action until an alternative can be reached; if his attention has been drawn to the carbon emissions reductions that can be achieved by the use of biofuels as a solution to both transport and home-heating; whether his Department has considered initiatives to incentivise further research and development in biofuels or other supports to the biofuels industry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
