To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment his views on the recent comments by the Director General of the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, that greenhouse gas emissions are unlikely to fall here in 2022; if he has plans to strengthen the climate action remit of the Commission for the Regulation of Utilities, CRU, to prioritise the achievement of Ireland’s 2030 and 2050 emission reduction targets; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
