To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if she will consider ending the reduced rate of jobseeker’s benefit in favour of full rate pay for those who qualify for the benefit given that the reduced rate is below the minimum social welfare rate and is penalising persons who were in low-income jobs; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
