I must now deal with a postponed division relating to the motion regarding the extension of relevant period within the meaning of section 9 of the Health (Amendment) Act 2021. Yesterday, on the question, "That the motion be agreed to", a division was claimed and, in accordance with Standing Order 80(2), that division must be taken now.

I must salute Gavan O'Reilly, the intrepid political correspondent of Virgin Media, who today highlighted the irony that the block voting system was introduced as a family-friendly initiative of Dáil Éireann and it is now 2.29 a.m. as we take this business.
