Is é an chéad gnó atá le déanamh againn ná Taoiseach a ainmniú de bhun Airteagal 13.1.1° den Bhunreacht. Having called on proposers and seconders, I will then call upon parties or groups that have not made a nomination to speak. The Business Committee has agreed that a proposer and seconder shall have five minutes each, and each party or group that has not made a nomination shall have ten minutes each.

I call Deputy Norma Foley whom I believe will nominate Deputy Micheál Martin for the post of Taoiseach.
