With regard to homelessness, the best way we can help people who are in housing insecurity is by increasing the number of homes being delivered. Rebuilding Ireland set out a target of 125,000 homes by the end of 2021. So far under Rebuilding Ireland, 64,000 new homes have been delivered, 26,000 homes are on site in the last 12 months and a further 30,000 homes have planning permission.
